It was a great, but busy summer---it was very hot for a change on the western coast. I must confess that my own genealogy didn't get as much attention as usual, although I have several projects 'almost' finished (again!), one of them a website for anyone interested in Newdale, Manitoba, Canada where my mother & grandmother were born.
A usual weekly task has been to index some of the 1901/1911 Canadian Census for the automated genealogy Canadian census website. Indexing is now back on my weekly to-do list.
Muriel Davidson, one of the Canadian Census campaign's co-chairs, has just reminded me that much remains to be done in the 1911 indexing project.
As of Friday this week, she said:

Above all, read the unfinished QUESTIONS site.
Why? There is always another question.
There is also a great deal more information at this site.
If not interested in transcribing, and you know an area, proofreaders
are welcome -- the real ones will start when we are finished.
Looking for the next 100%
