Rooted in one of Canada's most painful and complex social periods, the internment of Japanese-Canadians during World War II, Naomi's Road celebrates the power of hope, cultural understanding and compassion.
Based on the novel by Joy Kogawa, composed by Ramona Luengen, libretto by Ann Hodges.
Funded by the generous bequest of Robert Leslie Welsh.
Refreshments will be served by the Friends of the Library.
